It had come to the end of the summer
It was four years since I’d seen her face
She had asked if I wanted to catch up
At the park in our old special place
She had told me of her life after college
And how much she had missed the old gang
Bout how they all moved on to new cities
And how this town won’t be the same

Why do seasons change
Why can’t a moment just stay the same
The rearranging of life
